Three Ways To Make Your Boyfriend Lose Weight

Sometimes, losing weight could prove to be an uphill battle that most of us may not be strong enough to be able to get through. Depending on the amount of determination and discipline one has, losing weight could either be a walk in the park, or a long and arduous climb to the top.

Men and women all share this same fate, whether we choose to accept it or not. But for some reason, women tend to lose weight a little bit better than that of their male counterparts. This predicament we find ourselves in would be grounds for our significant others to start nagging us and reminding us of our seemingly expanding waistline that would be undesirable for them.

To all the ladies out there who are trying to motivate their boyfriends but have failed in one way or another, listen in. Here are some clever ways for you to make your man drop that extra bottle of beer and pick up those dumbbells.

1. Tell him you're not going to go out with him anymore till he gets back in shape.

Sometimes, it takes a little tough love to make a man realize how big a mistake he's doing. It may not come as a really big thing like losing your job or falling behind on payments, but these little things like being a bigger potato couch than you used to be really does take a toll on your health.

Gaining weight may come as a blessing to those who need them, but to some of us who already have enough of it, dread the thought of gaining even more pounds. We all wish we could lose weight instantly, but sadly such a thing would never happen.

Thinking about losing weight and actually doing something about it are two different things; this is one reason why you should start doing something to motivate your man to end his ways and start turning over a new leaf. To some, scaring them that you would no longer go out with them on dates would be cause enough to start burning off those calories instead of packing on those pounds.

2. Tell him to put the controller down.

Playing too much video games like World of Warcraft or Grand Theft Auto could sometimes take a toll on our physical health. There have been many men who have traded in their six packs for a pair of SIXAXIS controllers or others.

Sure gaming can be fun; the amount of entertainment it provides could even sometimes be considered as addictive. If you're the girlfriend who wish the days that have gone would come back (in terms of your man's physical shape that is), you definitely have to seriously consider asking him to put that controller down and to start caring more about himself.

3. Buy less food for him.

Sometimes we spoil our loved ones when we love them too much. We all love excess; having a house that's too big, a car that uses too much gasoline, and food servings for one that's big enough already to feed a group of two or three people.
